Very excited to be finally putting this post up for everyone to see. The lovely Heather Nixon has been kind enough to do a small guest post for me and I love the post she has chosen! A wishlist!! Who doesn’t want one. Now onto the post, enjoy beauties. (A link to her blog is at the end!!)
Autumn is nearly here and with the change of season comes a want to buy all of the new beauty releases as well as some long time wants. The release of autumn beauty products recently has brought the launch of quite a few new products from Too Faced and Smashbox that I have my eye on. I have a ‘new and upcoming beauty releases‘ post on my own blog, if you want to check it out.
Skincare + Bodycare
Since I started blogging my interest and love of skincare has grown and I now use as many good, natural products as I can although that isn’t great for my bank balance! Origins is a skincare brand I’ve always heard so many good things about, especially regarding their face masks! The Origins Essentials Only Set looks like a great way of trying new products at a reduced price! The second item on my autumn beauty wish list is the Kiehls Lavender Bath with Sea Salts and to be honest I was interested in this as it has lavender in it and I adore the scent of lavender. Kiehls always has rave reviews but I rarely read about their bodycare products; however during the colder months I always have baths more than showers and this would be great!
One of my favourite things to buy are palettes, I do have quite a lot but I always need more and more – it’s a bit of a problem! The new Smashbox Travel Size Full Exposure Palette is just adorable; I’ve wanted to try the Full Exposure palette for ages so a mini version is definitely on my wish list. The second palette on my wish list (yes, second, I know I have an obsession) is TheBalm Meet Matte Eyeshadow Palette; matte eyeshadows are a favourite of mine as I usually go to a natural eye look and matte shadows are essential. The last higher end product on my list is the much raved about new Too Faced Born This Way Foundation which I’ve heard so much about from American Youtubers – it also sounds great for my dry skin. Last but not least is a new foundation from my favourite brand for foundation – Max Factor. The Max Factor Miracle Match Foundation sounds pretty amazing (almost too amazing) but I have two foundations from them and they are both perfect!
There are just some of my beauty picks for autumn and what I want to spend all of my money on! I usually blame purchases on being a blogger, maybe I can get away with that excuse this time round too…
